BRENTWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION GENERAL MEETING
APRIL 24, 2023
There were 37 attendees (not including speakers); including 7 Board members - Mert Seaton, Brent Rinker, Jane Augustine, Lisa Meeks, Amy Hunsaker-Williams, Chris Schulze, & Jeremy Ennis.
SPEAKERS
PAR Officer Witty spoke about lower crimes in our area this month.
Charity Jordan spoke about what Harmony house is; & how we can help their cause.
UPDATES
Motion to approve February & March minutes. Seconded; & unanimously approved.
Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report. Seconded; & unanimously approved
Update on the progress on Kirkwood Park equipment.
Update on making street signs.
Update on yesterday’s kickball tournament – Doling won.
OLD BUSINESS
Motion made to have Zach help organize the set up of any Neighborhood Watch programs in the area. Seconded; & unanimously approved.
After lengthy discussion about the Bike Park, a motion was made to table any vote until more information was presented at the next meeting. Seconded; & unanimously approved.
Motion made to try to have quarterly “Brentwood Days” where people would clean up the areas around where they live; rather than street cleaning. Seconded; & unanimously approved.
NEW BUSINESS
Motion to grant up to $500 for having the food truck event in June. Seconded; & unanimously approved.
