Seconded; &amp; unanimously approved.<br>Motion to accept the Treasurer\u2019s report. Seconded; &amp; unanimously approved<br><br>UPDATES<br><br>Kirkwood Park playground is now open.<br><br>Decision to not be in the 4<sup>th<\/sup> of July parade \u2013 no objections.<br><br>Update on new signs &amp; banner \u2013 should have them this week.<br><br>Update on website \u2013 new hire contacting Cindy to update it.<br><br>OLD BUSINESS<br><br>Motion to reschedule social event to August 1. Seconded; &amp; unanimously approved.<br><br>Motion to table decisions about Lantern Walk on October 7 to July meeting. Seconded; &amp; unanimously approved.<br><br>Motion to have Brentwood Day clean up on Saturday September 30. Seconded; &amp; unanimously approved.<br><br>Street sign locations \u2013 City gave 9; &amp; we choose the last 3. Motion to have Link &amp; Sunshine, Seminole &amp; Luster &amp; Barataria &amp; Luster as the locations. Seconded; &amp; unanimously approved.<br><br>NEW BUSINESS<br><br>Motion to attend our event in Kirkwood Park, rather than participate National Night Out. Seconded; &amp; unanimously approved.<br><br>Motion to have the Neighborhood Clean Up on Oct 5 &#8211; with the 10th or 12<sup>th<\/sup> as a backup; at Unity Church &#8211; with Brentwood Christian Church as a backup. Seconded; &amp; unanimously approved.<br><br>SPEAKERS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><\/a> Fire Dept. Representative spoke about how to legally have a recreational fire in your yard. Reviewed what the various Fire Dept. calls in our area have been.<br>Asked if they are short staffed, like the Police are. The Fire Dept is about 15 short, compared to the Police being 100 short.<br>Asked if City employed. Yes.<br>Talked about the changes to the various Fire Stations. Asked why station out past Jack Henry. Station built in anticipation of an annex that did not happen.<br><br>ANNOUNCEMENTS<br><br>Escooters were expanded closer to our neighborhood; but not in it yet.<br><br>Next meeting on July 31.<br><br>Motion to adjourn meeting.
